Välinge receives Export Hermes award

[Viken, Sweden] Välinge Innovation has received the annual award Export Hermes for its export efforts, the company announced. The award was presented by the Crown Princess Victoria during Stockholm Chamber of Commerce's World Trade Day on Thursday, August 27.  

"We are very happy and honored that our company is recognized with his award," said Välinge Innovation chairman and founder Darko Pervan.

Each year, Export Hermes rewards two Swedish companies that have accomplished remarkable export achievements and thereby contributing to Sweden’s economic prosperity. The award is arranged by the Swedish Fund for Export Development which works to encourage Swedish enterprises to make greater export efforts.  

"Välinge’s international success is based on in-house development and a focused export strategy. The company is a worthy winner of Export Hermes," said Anders Lundwall, chairman of the Swedish Fund for Export Development.
