Anthony Minite exits Paralleltek to return to commercial interiors

Posted Date: 11/20/2014
[Santa Fe Springs, Ca.] It will be two years in January since Anthony Minite resigned as president from Bentley Carpet Mills and left the commercial interiors business. But look for him to be back soon.

Minite has announced he will exit his position as president and general manager at Paralleltek to pursue other opportunities effective January 1, 2015. Minite will explore opportunities in the commercial interiors industry, where he enjoyed a successful career for nearly 25 years prior to joining Paralleltek. Jack Hooven will assume role of general manager and Minite will remain involved as a board member.

At the time Tangram Interiors was looking to enter the audio visual (AV) structured cabling business, Minite was transitioning away from the flooring industry. Tangram president and CEO Joe Lozowski looked to his longtime colleague to help spearhead that venture. Under Minite’s leadership, Paralleltek has become a prominent AV integrator.

“The timing was perfect to build this business with Joe and it’s been an amazing experience. Paralleltek is in a great place now and as an entrepreneur I am eager to explore more opportunities,” said Minite. “I’ve spent two years away from the commercial interiors industry, where I worked for nearly 25 years, and it just feels like the time is right to return.”

“We were fortunate to be able to partner with Anthony and grateful for his leadership and commitment to grow Paralleltek to where it is today,” said Lozowski. “This industry is ripe with opportunity, however it requires the right leadership to compete and Anthony’s contributions have made a huge difference for us. We wish him only the best.”
