Expert trend forecaster highlights Quick-Step's Tudor Oak as “on-trend”

Posted Date: 1/29/2015
PRESS RELEASE: [Dallas] Last week during Surfaces 2015, Expert Trend Forecaster Victoria Redshaw highlighted Quick-Step’s new Reclaimé Tudor Oak as an “On-Trend Product” by featuring it as the flooring laid throughout this year’s Surfaces Trends Hub booth.

Surfaces’ Trends Hub was designed to serve as an inspirational presentation of the latest products from various exhibitors as well as a unique preview of the major color, texture, material, and styling trends for 2015.

Quick-Step’s new Reclaimé Tudor Oak planks offer consumers the rich, character look of reclaimed, vintage hardwood in a floor that is not only beautiful, but durable and virtually maintenance-free. Tudor Oak designs accurately replicate vintage hardwood that has been weathered by time and the elements, lending a softness and
artistry to any room. Each rich dark chocolate plank features high shade variation, texture that follows the wood grain, and prominent splits and cracks for further authenticity. The sophisticated styling and detailed designs in each Tudor Oak plank achieve a heightened level of realism in these romantic visuals.

Tudor Oak’s reclaimed hardwood designs are featured on 12mm thick and 7-1/2” wide by 54” extra-long planks to deliver unmatched realism and expansive style. In addition, the top layer of each plank features a special anti-static surface that repels dust and dirt, making Reclaimé’s Tudor Oak virtually maintenance-free. Made in the USA, Tudor Oak features Uniclic, the best and most widely used glueless installation locking system in the world today.

Redshaw is the lead futurist and founder of Scarlet Opus Limited, an international design and style trends forecasting agency. She works directly with manufacturers, retailers, interior designers, and media — specifically those involved in the interior sector — to provide information on the colors, patterns, materials, shapes, products, and styling that will be desired by consumers in the near future. Surfaces’ show management made her expertise available to all attendees at no charge in the Surfaces Trends Hub booth during the 2015 show.
