Obiturary: Peter “Rick” Truxell

[Elk Grove, Ill.] All Tile’s purchasing manager, Peter “Rick” Truxell, passed away this week.

Truxell was a key employee for All Tile with over 34 years of experience. He began working for All Tile in 1980 as a purchasing agent, ultimately advancing to purchasing director.

Over the years he earned a reputation for being highly organized, detail-oriented and remarkably proficient in his position, according to the company. Despite his disciplined approach, he rarely failed to share his infectious laugh at the end of a phone call or visit. His talents in I.T. were equally impressive as was his acumen about All Tile’s operation. He routinely went far beyond his job title as he kept a watchful eye on matters big and small and was a tremendous source of support for the entire organization.

“We mourn the loss of our friend and colleague; he will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace, Rick,” the company stated.
