Pedross America revitalized

Posted Date: 7/25/2014

[Springdale, Ark.] Family owned Pedross Group, parent to Pedross America, based here, has been developing and marketing moldings and flooring accessories for more than 50 years. But in 2014, the company reorganized its management team and looked to revitalize the business and strengthen its U.S. market position. Now, reported the company, it is ready to meet industry and customer needs with its expansive product offering.

“With the combined power of 250 highly motivated employees and an exceptionally innovative spirit, we strive to provide the best possible solutions for our customers and partners every day,” said Andreas Siese, sales manager, Pedross America.

The Pedross Group, located in Italy, expanded its business in the U.S. after founding a subsidiary in 2011 in Arkansas. And, according to Siese, being centrally located within the country allows the company to ensure shorter lead times as well as daily shipments to any location throughout the U.S.

“The decision to invest and to fully concentrate into the U.S. market is the result of a good acceptance and recognition of our products. Our focus is to increase customer service and customer satisfaction, and to respond to increasing market requirements,” explained Carmela Amico, chief sales and marketing officer, Pedross Group, and CEO, Pedross America.

Pedross America’s product offering is competitively priced and includes wood moldings; cork moldings; laminate moldings; stair treads and risers; digital printing; and, aluminum moldings. Pedross will soon be introducing a collection of LVT moldings as well.

“Once we receive a sample from the customer, we can color coordinate and provide a close match to almost every floor. This will reduce obsolete inventory and handling costs as well as avoiding running out of SKUs,” said Siese.

Pedross America also offers custom-made orders with no required minimum amount.

“No order is too small or too big. We stock all domestic species in each profile and have a large variety of colors. Our transitions are packed individually after undergoing a final quality control,” noted Siese.

According to Siese, Pedross America places a strong emphasis on sustainability, especially in regards to the environmental impact of its production process and materials used for its products.

“The wood used in our production comes from responsibly-managed forests. To complete our sustainability circle, production waste is re-processed into briquettes and used to produce green energy in our wood power station,” he said.

Pedross America offers a variety of moldings from wood, laminate and cork to aluminum and more.
