Beaulieu Canada announces price increases

[Acton Vale, Quebec] Beaulieu Canada Inc. announced that it will increase current base prices for all flooring products by a minimum of 4 percent and as high as 6 percent, effective September 1 2015.

“As one of only a very few Canadian manufacturers, Beaulieu Canada strives to invest significantly in new product development, expand product sourcing and continues to work diligently to streamline its operations and maintain costs. Notwithstanding these efforts, the continued weakening of the Canadian dollar against the U.S. dollar continues to affect our raw material costs, specifically U.S. sourced raw materials. You will understand that unlike product development and the streamlining of operations, currency fluctuations are beyond our control,” said Mario Bergamin, executive vice-president residential sales.
