[Baltimore] Fishman Flooring Solutions is expanding its operational footprint in Tennessee and into nearby states. Effective March 1, the company will open a branch in Nashville, which will serve customers in Central and Western Tennessee, as well as Northern Alabama and Southern Kentucky.
“As part of our strategic plan, we are constantly evaluating opportunities to grow our business organically,” said Fishman executive vice president Bill Mabeus. “Our due diligence indicated that there is a significant need for a full-service distributor of flooring and flooring installation products offering a range of services in Nashville and surrounding areas and we will be filling that void.”
Fishman’s Nashville branch will meet three marketplace needs based on feedback from flooring installation contractors in the area, according to Mabeus. First, an easily-accessible pickup location. Second, an expanded, ready-to-purchase product line. Third, a reliable supply of products.
According to the company, Fishman will rely on a highly-experienced team to service customers in Nashville and surrounding areas. Staffing the Nashville branch will be territory business manager Tim Bammon, branch manager Kevin Carlton and customer service representative Guy Haynes, who collectively have more than 65 years of flooring installation industry experience. In addition, Fishman architect, design and facility representative Bill Morgan, with more than 40 years of flooring industry experience, will be available to work with architects, designers, facility managers and others in the area to recommend products and facilitate the flooring installation process.
The Nashville branch is Fishman’s third in Tennessee. In March 2017, it opened a full-service branch in Knoxville, Tennessee. The company also has a branch in Johnson City, Tenn.
