Korlok by Karndean: a perfect fit

[Export, Pa.] This year, Karndean Designflooring introduced Korlok, its locking, rigid core flooring, which added a third installation option to its already robust portfolio of products.

“Korlok fills the need for a durable rigid core locking product that has the high-quality designs for which Karndean Designflooring is known,” said CEO Larry Browder. “With the addition of Korlok, Karndean Designflooring offers premium solutions for any installation scenario. Not only do we offer glue down, loose lay and rigid core formats, but we do so in original, premium designs.”

Debuting at The International Surface Event in January, Korlok features proprietary K-Core technology, providing superior dimensional stability for installation over most existing and imperfect subfloors, and meets the ASTM standard for indentation resistance, the company said. It features 5G drop and lock technology, and can be scored and snapped without affecting the core or the pre-attached acoustic foam backing, Browder shared in an interview with FCW. Korlok’s 20mil wear layer also makes it a fit for both commercial and residential applications.
