While Karastan has a long tradition of offering carpets and rugs for the luxury market, the venerable brand would like to reach out to a younger demographic as well. Among a group of patterns designed to appeal to that younger consumer demographic, Karastan’s Artistic Charm is a transitional linen look in nylon that is doing very well, reported Brittany Stanley, designer II, residential at Mohawk Industries.
And for the consumer looking to make a statement, there are medium to large scale patterns from Karastan such as printed patterns in its Savanna Scenes collection including Radiant Zebra, Snow Leopard and Ashen Antelope that are bolder, as well as six Colorpoint patterns that are cut and loop styles such as Classic Culture and Design Journey.
