[Troy, N.C.] Capel Rugs is conducting two promotions during the upcoming April High Point Market.
According to the company, with the purchase of five or more new rugs sized 5' x 8' or larger, retailers, designers and other buyers will receive a 20 percent discount. In addition, Capel Rugs is offering an extra incentive for dealers and designers who make advance appointments to visit its showroom during the April 14-18 market. If customers call their sales representative to make an appointment and mention the code PR APR, they will receive four 18" x 18" rug swatches free of charge. Similar codes also are appearing in Capel Rugs' trade magazine advertisements heading into the spring market.
"Markets are always so busy for everybody, and we want to make sure that our customers get the most value from their showroom visits with us," said Cameron Capel, president, sales and marketing for Capel Rugs. "By making an appointment prior to market, retailers and designers ensure that they will be able to spend all the quality time they need with our sales reps in reviewing our latest introductions and discussing their plans for the coming months."
This market, Capel's major product introductions include Banaz, a traditionally styled, machine-made collection in four patterns and colorways; Gallery, a hand-loomed collection of five geometric designs in New Zealand wool; and Gypsy, a hand-tufted, all-wool collection of five patterns and colorways made in India. In addition, Capel is adding two new braids -- Fusion and Synergy -- in a fresh palette of contemporary colors designed for younger consumers as well as number of other new collections and line extensions.
Each day during market, Capel Rugs will be serving fresh-roasted Starbucks coffee to its showroom visitors. In the late afternoon, it will hold a cocktail hour for attendees.
