Women in the Flooring Industry (WIFI) is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit that attracts, educates and empowers women in the flooring industry and beyond. WIFI programs are available to anyone who identifies as or who is in support of women in the flooring industry. Programs include scholarships for post-secondary and continuing education, awards for excellence in the industry, and presenting of professional development educational workshops and mentoring programs. April 1: WIFI Mentoring Program Application Deadline

The WIFI Mentoring Program is an adult-to-adult match designed to help you grow professionally and personally.
Who can participate: The program is designed for those who identify as a woman working in the flooring industry and is free for everyone.
Time Commitment: The mentoring program is six-month in length. Sessions will be April 1, 2024. This cohort of mentee/mentor matches will run in May - October 2024.
April 17: WIFI Power Hour- The Gift of Coaching from 12:00 noon EST / 11:00 a.m. CST (one hour session)

This WIFI Power Hour is an opportunity to have your cup refilled while exploring the coaching experience. Are you pouring from an empty cup? Do you feel stuck or frozen in an area of your life? Do you struggle to know what doors are closing and what doors are opening? Do you ultimately want to be one who pours into the lives of others? Power Hours are free.

April 18: Steps to a Powerful Personal Brand - NWFA Women’s Breakfast in NOLA from 8:00 – 9:30 AM CST

Laila Morcos Zissis, a media consultant, podcast host and founder of LikeMinded Ladies, will explore individual branding. How are you sharing your brand within your organization and more broadly, either in the industry or where you live? Companies have a brand and so do you. Learn ways to put yourself into the mix as an expert and surround yourself with a community by doing so. The NWFA Women's Industry Network brings together women across the wood flooring supply chain, fostering connections, support and shared learning experiences. WIFI board members will be there to update on our 2024 program offerings as well.
April 23: “Her Story” - WIFI Networking Event at Coverings in Atlanta from 4-5PM EST
