[Padova, Italy] FILA Solutions announced it will be featuring the high-performance protective treatment, FILASTOP Dirt, during The International Surface Event (TISE WEST), Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2018 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
FILASTOP Dirt protects the surface from dirt, water and oil stains. According to the company, the formulation creates a protective dirt-barrier for textured and unpolished porcelain. Once applied, it chemically bonds without leaving a film, creating invisible protection against dirt build-up and enabling fast and easy cleaning, the company said. The formulation can be used inside and outdoors, where it provides a breathable, UV-resistant barrier, without altering surface slip-resistant properties.
The company added that it also provides long-lasting protection against water and oil stains, and limits water retention, as demonstrated by lab tests conducted on surfaces installed according with UNI 11493. The company said that FILASTOP Dirt is ideal for high traffic areas, from shopping centers to office foyers, and once applied the treatment needs minimal maintenance, and can also be used in the home.
FILASTOP Dirt will not yellow, nor alter the material’s original degree of slipperiness, as proven in tests conforming to the B.C.R.A. and ASTMC 1028- 2007 methods, and in the English Standard BS 7976 Pendulum tests.
It is available in 500ml cans, each providing coverage of approximately 375 square feet.
