[Westwood, Mass.] C&R Flooring has announced that its president, Chris Zizza, was awarded the Community Spirit Award – Gold for his work with The Make a Difference Project at the 2018 Builders and Remodelers Association of Great Boston (BRAGB) PRISM Awards.
Zizza, a life-long philanthropist, founded The Make a Difference Project in early 2018 as a way to bring attention to individuals and smaller charitable organizations that are doing amazing things in New England and beyond. The project features one organization per month, promoting their mission on social media, getting involved in fundraising events and more. The community spirit award is judged on the originality, concept and execution of a community outreach or charitable program.
“I believe it is my responsibility in life to use my success to help others,” said Zizza. “I don’t expect anything in return, but it is very humbling to receive this award.”
The 2018 BRAGB PRISM awards took place on Thursday, Oct. 25 at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston. The PRISM awards recognize the finest projects and outstanding achievements in the Greater Boston home building industry.
