Commercial Salesperson, Healthier Choice Carpet Cushion & Underlayment

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced salesperson to join our team as we expand our presence in the commercial contract market. The salesperson will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy focused on commercial contract sales, including hospitality, multi-family housing, and commercial sectors, for our carpet cushion and underlayment products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan to penetrate the commercial contract market and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities in the hospitality, multi-family housing, and commercial sectors, building strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
- Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to position Healthier Choice Carpet Cushion & Underlayment as a preferred supplier for commercial projects.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and product innovation.
- Travel regularly to meet with potential clients, attend industry events, and oversee sales nationwide.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of commercial and hospitality sales agents across diQerent regions, providing guidance and support to achieve sales objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in floor covering sales, with a focus on commercial or hospitality sectors preferred.
- Strong understanding of the commercial contract market, including key players, trends, and sales channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed to meet business requirements.
- Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, including market segmentation, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to recruit, motivate, and manage a sales team effectively.
